Hawks Eastern Cape granted forfeiture order over 2.3-million-rand linked to a cash-in-transit heist [SOUND]

# The Makhanda High Court has granted the Hawks in the Eastern Cape and the National Prosecuting Authority a forfeiture order worth over 2.3-million-rand. This is linked to a July 2024 cash-in-transit robbery along the road between Kei Road, Maclean Town, and Stutterheim. Hawks spokesperson Ndiphiwe Mhlakuvana says that during the incident, five suspects were shot and killed while five others were arrested:
