Government concerned about human trafficking in the country [SOUND]

# Government says human trafficking is a serious crime that violates fundamental human rights. Last month, authorities rescued 23 young South Africans from forced labour in Myanmar after being recruited for bogus jobs promising a monthly salary of 15-thousand-rand. In February,  26 Ethiopians were rescued from a suspected human trafficking ring in Johannesburg. Government Communication Information System’s spokesperson, Nokululeko Mtshali, says traffickers often target vulnerable individuals, including children, migrants, and those in difficult economic situations:
