# The GOOD Party says South Africa cannot claim to be building inclusive cities while poor and working-class residents are priced out of their homes by unfair utility charges. Sustained pressure has led to tenants of the DCI Social Housing facility in Goodwood, Cape Town, having their monthly fixed water and electricity charges reduced by 75.6-percent from next month onwards. GOOD’s Axolile Notywala says while serious challenges remain at DCI, this development is a significant win for social housing tenants:
