# The GOOD Party says housing delivery in Cape Town has declined significantly over the past two decades, while the housing backlog has grown to about 600-thousand units. The party claims delivery has fallen from around nine-thousand homes a year to about five-thousand. GOOD secretary-general Brett Herron warns that rising property prices and population growth are worsening inequality.
