# The GOOD Party says more illegal guns are flowing into communities daily, bringing more killings, pain, and destruction. This follows the murders of eleven people in separate incidents in Cape Town over the weekend. GOOD’s secretary general, Brett Herron, says murder, gangsterism and violent crime are prevalent where communities are underdeveloped, overcrowded, and trapped by poverty and inequality. He says even with the police, Metro Police, LEAP officers, and the army deployed, the killings have not stopped:
