George Municipality allocates R230-million for new infrastructure projects [SOUND]

# The George Municipality in the Western Cape has allocated 250-million-rand for new infrastructure projects in the 2025/2026 financial year. It is currently implementing large-scale road and infrastructure upgrades across the city to support the expansion of the GO GEORGE public transport service. The municipality’s spokesperson, Chantel Edwards-Klose says these upgrades form part of a multi-year capital investment:
