# The Gauteng Legislature’s Community Safety Committee has urged residents to stay safe over the Easter weekend. With traffic expected to increase, committee chairperson Bandile Masuku has called on motorists to obey road rules, avoid speeding and drunk driving, and report suspicious activity. Masuku also called for prayers against crime including gender-based violence. He calls on communities to work with law enforcement for a peaceful weekend:
