# Gauteng Education MEC, Matome Chiloane has confirmed that Gauteng is fully prepared for the 2025 National Senior Certificate exams, starting on 21 October and ending 27 November. Chiloane was providing an update on learner placement and and exams readiness at Parktown Girls High School in Johannesburg. The MEC says over 192-thousand candidates have registered to write the exams and over one-thousand centres are registered to conduct the examinations:
