Freedom Day: GIWUSA says 1994 elections dismantled racist political order [SOUND]

# Freedom Day: The General Industries Workers Union of South Africa says as the country commemorates Freedom Day, the 1994 elections dismantled the racist political order but left the economic power of white capital untouched. Giwusa president Mametlwe Sebei says the negotiated settlement protected property rights, shielded monopolies, and entrenched neoliberalism as a counter-revolution in democratic form. He says land and wealth remain concentrated and 72-percent of private land is still in white hands:
