# The City of Johannesburg’s Emergency Management Services say at least four people have died in a shack fire at the Kathrada Park informal settlement, Claremont, in the early hours of this morning. The deceased are aged between 20 and 50-years-old. Several residents were treated for smoke inhalation. EMS spokesperson, Robert Mulaudzi, says the cause of the fire is unknown at this stage:
