# Four men appeared in an Eastern Cape court in connection with the murder of four people in Kwadwesi, Gqeberha, earlier this month. Attackers entered a house and opened fire, killing a man and three women, and wounding two people. The men appeared briefly in the New Brighton Magistrate’s Court on charges of murder and attempted murder. The case has been postponed to Monday for formal bail applications. Police’s acting district commissioner, Loyiso Ngalo, applauded the arrests.
