# The Freedom Front Plus in Gauteng is calling on the Emfuleni Municipality to urgently do the necessary repairs at the NE3 substation in Vanderbijlpark, following a fire incident. This substation supplies power to the NE3 industrial area, where large manufacturing companies are located as well as an informal settlement. FF Plus’, Gerda Senekal, says this is the second time in two years that the substation has been destroyed by a fire:
