# The City of Ekurhuleni has suspended the Harambee bus service until further notice. The suspension of the bus service is informed by the currently ongoing taxi industry strike over the impounding of vehicles. Yesterday, taxi operators in the metro withdrew their services in protest against what they describe as unfair and unsustainable enforcement practices.
