# The EFF Youth Command is calling on the Department of Basic Education to urgently investigate the sexual assault incident at Laerskool Adelaide Primary School in the Eastern Cape. Two learners were allegedly sexually assaulted by a male learner at school. The EFF Youth Command’s Phumelelani Mshumi says Education MEC, Fundile Gade, has failed to provide leadership or reassurance to parents, who are demanding justice:
