# The EFF in Gauteng has condemned the assassination of IFP deputy chief whip, Khethamabala “KP” Sithole, calling it a senseless act of violence. The party extended condolences to the Inkatha Freedom Party and Sithole’s family, praising his years of public service. IFP provincial secretary, Alco Ngobese, was also shot and injured in the attack that took place in Katlehong, Gauteng last night. The EFF urged police to act decisively against political killings and gun violence, and wished Ngobese a speedy recovery.
