# The EFF has strongly denounced what it calls the unjust suspension of the Southern African Music Rights Organisation chief operating officer, Mpho Mofikoe by management and board. The party says this suspension follows a distressing pattern the EFF have seen before, with former CEO Nothando Migogo and current CEO Ditebogo Modiba both experiencing similar mistreatment. The EFF says Mofikoe’s courageous efforts to tackle deep-seated issues within SAMRO, including initiating a crucial forensic investigation, have seemingly made her a target of those unwilling to confront their own inefficiencies and unaccountability.
