# The EFF has strongly condemned the arbitrary cancellation of a critical meeting of Parliament’s portfolio committee on Defence and Military Veterans scheduled for today. The committee was set to be briefed by Armscor on the current and planned naval contracts, and the SA Navy on naval contracts managed by Armscor. The EFF says equally concerning is the persistent absence of minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Angie Motshekga, from oversight meetings. The party adds that the minister is evading accountability for the ongoing dysfunction within the SANDF.
