# The Eastern Cape government has reached an agreement with scholar transport operators, and services will resume today. Operators withdrew their services this week over delayed government payments. The OR Tambo, Alfred Nzo, Buffalo City, and Nelson Mandela Bay municipalities were the most affected. The provincial government allocated a total budget of 725-million-rand for scholar transport this financial year, benefiting over 112-thousand learners.
