# The DA in the Western Cape is encouraging all residents to download and make use of the Roads4U app. The recent devastating storms and heavy rainfall in the province have caused over 9-billion-rand in infrastructure damage, impacting more than 400 roads. The DA’s Dirk Wessels says the app enables users to submit photographs and GPS coordinates of damaged roads, helping to accelerate the identification, assessment and repair of defects across the provincial road network:
