# The DA in the Western Cape has expressed concern at the ongoing challenges facing social grant beneficiaries, amid the South African Social Security Agency’s latest eligibility review process. The social grant reviews are being undertaken on targeted beneficiaries suspected of having additional sources of income that were not disclosed to the agency. The DA’s Wendy Kaizer-Philander says as it stands, beneficiaries are being instructed to present themselves in person at their nearest SASSA local office for eligibility verification:
