# The DA in Gauteng has welcomed environmental experts’ concerns that wetlands and endangered species are at risk should the Gauteng government relocate Mamelodi flood victims to the Cullinan Heritage Site. The DA’s Leanne de Jager says multiple environmental impact studies have been ignored, as the site is vital for biodiversity and cultural preservation. She has called on premier Panyaza Lesufi’s government to reconsider and find an alternative location.
