DA warns of service delivery collapse in struggling Western Cape municipalities [SOUND]

# The DA says five municipalities in the Western Cape, all governed by unstable coalitions, are struggling with unpaid Eskom debts totalling 93-million-rand. Four of these municipalities will have their debts written off as part of the municipal debt relief programme, but Theewaterskloof does not qualify. The DA’s Dave Bryant calls for better governance, as these municipalities’ financial struggles are hindering basic services and their ability to partner with the private sector for energy generation:
