# The Democratic Alliance has expressed outrage over conditions at West Coast College’s Vredendal campus, uncovered during an unannounced oversight visit. The DA’s Matlhodi Maseko says more than 400 students, many NSFAS-funded, are crammed into overcrowded residences, including shipping containers. Maseko described that students share just two cold-water showers for 20 people, face broken appliances, no laundry facilities, and no Wi-Fi. She says that Parliamentary questions will be submitted insisting students deserve safe, dignified housing.
