DA says updated Western Cape Safety Plan sets out ground-breaking initiatives [SOUND]

# The DA in the Western Cape says the provincial government’s updated safety plan sets out concrete, evidence-based initiatives to ensure communities are made safer. Some of the new programmes in plan include the establishment of a safety council, the safety coordination centre and technological innovation and expansion. The DA’s Thomas Walters says the plan also sets out amendments to the Western Cape Community Safety Act, to expand oversight powers:
