DA leader pledges to expand affordable housing in Cape Town [SOUND]

# DA leader and Cape Town mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis has launched a pledge to expand affordable housing in the city. He launched the pledge at the Salt River Market site, where 970 affordable homes are planned. The plan includes building more affordable rental homes, making more city land available, upgrading informal settlements and partnering with private developers and social-housing organisations.
