# The DA in Gauteng says the provincial Health Department has compromised thousands of businesses by its inability to pay invoices valued at over 5.1-billion-rand within the stipulated 30-day period. The department paid out 1.621-billion-rand within the stipulated 30-day period and 2.447-billion-rand after 30 days in quarter one of the 2025/2026 financial year.
