# The DA in Gauteng is calling on Roads and Transport MEC, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, to work with the Department of Community Safety and the police to curb lawlessness in the taxi industry. Last week, an e-hailing driver was shot and burnt inside his car, while two others sustained injuries at the Maponya Mall in Soweto.
