DA demands water connection for Polokwane school

# The DA in Polokwane has urged mayor John Mpe to urgently ensure a municipal water connection for General Piet Joubert School of Skills. The school, educating 600 learners and housing 200 in hostels, has relied on unreliable tanker deliveries for over four years. Shockingly, it was billed 400-thousand-rand for nearly nine million litres of water it never received. DA ward councilor Johan Retters says the municipality’s neglect violates children’s right to water, dignity, and education.
