# DA Gauteng is demanding urgent intervention at Wedela Technical High in the Merafong City Local Municipality in Gauteng, where cable theft and vandalism have left more than one-thousand-400 learners without water and electricity. The DA’s Sergio Isa Dos Santos says the school has faced disruptions for seven years, worsened by the withdrawal of security guards. He’s urged the Education Department to restore services and security to return proper functional mechanisms in the school:
