# The DA is demanding the immediate reversal of the temporary appointment of an untrained 29-year-old Brigadier as the head of Visible Policing for the Moot District in Pretoria. The Brigadier was among several senior Crime Intelligence members arrested a few weeks ago, on allegations of fraud, corruption, and abuse of SAPS’s secret service funds. The DA says this temporary transfer raises serious questions about the internal vetting, accountability, and decision-making processes within the police service.
