# The DA has slammed the use of plastic covers for patients to sleep on at Bheki Mlangeni Hospital in Soweto, two months after a linen crisis was first exposed. The issue stems from broken laundry machines. DA Gauteng Health spokesperson, Jack Bloom, says that this contradicts claims by Health MEC Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko that there are no linen shortages.
