DA accuses Panyaza Lesufi of using e-Government as ‘piggy bank’ for safety projects [SOUND]

# The Democratic Alliance says Gauteng premier Panyaza Lesufi is using the Department of e-Government to fund his community safety projects. The party claims over 170-million-rand has been spent on items such as e-panic buttons, CCTV cameras, and drones, purchases that the Community Safety Department should have made. The DA’s Michael Waters says this may violate the Public Finance Management Act and amounts to misuse of public funds:
