# Cricket: Cricket South Africa has announced the resignation of Proteas white-ball coach Rob Walter, effective from the end of this month. Walter is stepping down for personal reasons after two years in charge. Under his leadership, the Proteas reached their first-ever ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final last year and made semi-final appearances in both the 2023 Cricket World Cup and the 2025 Champions Trophy. CSA says Walter played a key role in rebuilding the team’s international reputation. A successor will be named soon.
