# Transport minister Barbara Creecy has expanded the verification of Traffic Register Numbers issued to natural persons between January 2000 and June 2023. Phase One-B targets remaining numbers requiring verification, following a joint exercise with Home Affairs. Holders listed for verification have 60 days to register through the Natis portal and submit their details as Home Affairs conducts the verification. The department’s spokesperson Collin Msibi says the Traffic Register Numbers that cannot be successfully verified will be cancelled.
