# The Pretoria High Court has dismissed accused number four, Mthokoziseni Maphisa’s Section 174 application in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial. Maphisa argued the State failed to link him to the 2014 killing, but prosecutors say he acted as a lookout outside Meyiwa’s girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo’s home when the Bafana Bafana captain was shot. Judge Ratha Mokgatlheng ruled there is prima facie evidence requiring an answer, meaning the case will proceed:
