Cosatu rejects the DA’s aim to scrap Broad-Based Black Empowerment [SOUND]

# The Congress of South African Trade Unions has rejected the DA’s call for the scrapping of Broad-Based Black Empowerment, saying the objectives of the policy are sacrosanct. The DA is looking to introduce the Economic Inclusion for All Bill, which seeks to amend the Public Procurement Amendment Act of 2024, to repeal all race-based preferential procurement provisions.
