Cosatu president calls for unity between the ANC and the SACP [SOUND]

# The Congress of the South African Trade Unions president, Zingiswa Losi, has cautioned against divisions within the alliance, urging the ANC and SACP not to cause rifts among workers. The SACP has decided to contest the 2026 local government elections as an independent party, citing the ANC’s failure and refusal to reconfigure their alliance in more than twenty years. Speaking at Cosatu’s Central Committee meeting in Benoni on Monday, Losi urged the ANC and SACP to resolve their challenges:
