Cosatu is underwhelmed by the Free Market Foundation’s opposition to transformation [SOUND]

# Cosatu says it is underwhelmed by the Free Market Foundation’s latest tirade opposing any attempts by government and society to transform and deracialise the economy, including through Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment. A new study by the foundation and the Solidarity Research Institute reveals that B-BBEE policies are costing the country’s economy up to 290-billion-rand per year. Cosatu’s spokesperson, Matthew Parks, says B-BBEE is not perfect, but its objectives remain sound:
