Cosatu congratulates Satawu for reaching a wage agreement at Transnet [SOUND]

# The Congress of South African Trade Unions has applauded the South African Transport and Allied Workers Union for reaching an above-inflation wage agreement of 17.5-percent with Transnet. The three-year wage agreement will see a six-percent increase in the first and second years and 5.5-percent in the final year of the agreement. Cosatu’s spokesperson, Zanele Sabela, says the agreement will also see a rise in pension fund contributions, housing allowance and offer access to affordable medical aid:
