Cosatu appalled by excessive wasteful expenditure by the Social Development Department [SOUND]

# Union federation Cosatu says it is shocked that the Department of Social Development paid 1.4-million-rand to an external service provider to write and edit press releases. The department paid Six Fingaz Media roughly 82-thousand-rand per month since October last year. Meanwhile, between 2025 and May this year, the department forked out 670-thousand-rand to accommodate acting head of Communications Sandy Godlwana in hotels in Pretoria.
