# The Bakwena Platinum Corridor Concessionaire has announced that contactless payments will launch on the N1-N4 route in the fourth quarter of 2025. The N1 connects Tshwane to Bela-Bela, while the N4 stretches to the Botswana Border. The upgrade aims to boost security and streamline toll operations through real-time transactions. Tap-and-pay cards, smartphones, smartwatches, Apple Pay, and Google Wallet will be accepted. Traditional methods like cash, Sanral tags, and magstripe cards will remain available.
