Competition Commission welcomes appointment of new deputy commissioners [SOUND]

# The Competition Commission has welcomed the appointment of Bukhosibakhe Majenge and Tamara Mokoka as deputy commissioners of the Commission, effective 1 September 2026. The appointments was announced by Trade, Industry and Competition minister, Parks Tau. Spokesperson Siyabulela Makunga says both are institutionally developed leaders whose careers have been shaped by, and have helped shape, the Commission over many years. He says their appointments strengthen the Commission’s executive leadership as it continues to promote and maintain competition, protect consumers and support inclusive economic growth:
