Speaking in Tsepisong, City Power spokesperson Isaac Mangena said that suspended services to parts of Tsepisong is due to widespread illegal electricity connections. Officials say the community bypassed meters, vandalised infrastructure, and threatened technicians. He urged residents to apply for the Free Basic Electricity Programme to avoid disconnections:
