City Power intensifies efforts to recover more than R10 billion owed to the utility

# City Power says it is intensifying its efforts to recover more than ten-billion-rand owed to the utility, with 1.6-billion-rand of that debt owed by customers within the Hursthill Service Delivery Centre supply area. It says two business parks in Croesus owing City Power 17-million-rand and 5.3-million-rand respectively, along with a business property in Melville in arrears of 3.1-million-rand, are among the latest high-value defaulters whose electricity supply was disconnected. City Power says all three commercial customers had previously been disconnected and were found to have reconnected illegally.
