City Power recorded one-thousand-138 infrastructure-related incidents in Johannesburg in the 2024/25 financial year, compared with one-thousand-54 in 2025/26, representing an overall decline of approximately 7.4-percent. Despite the improvement, the continued targeting of critical electricity infrastructure remains a serious threat to reliable power supply, while placing additional pressure on communities and restoration teams.
