City Power cracks down on defaulters and illegal connections [SOUND]

# City Power has disconnected two National Student Financial Aid Scheme-funded student accommodation flats in Johannesburg. This is over the non-payment of its 12-million-rand electricity debt. The City of Johannesburg and the power utility have been cracking down on non-paying customers and residents with illegal connections. City Power’s spokesperson, Isaac Mangena, says it is owed 3.2-billion-rand from defaulting residential and business customers in the inner city:
