# The City of Tshwane says progress is being made in its longstanding commitment to insourcing one-thousand-283 security guards, who are currently serving within the metro’s security structures. Mayoral committee member for Corporate and Shared Services, Kholofelo Morodi, says a detailed report presented to council has outlined a financially viable, multi-year roadmap to phase in key employment benefits. She says this includes provisions for group scheme coverage, a 13th cheque, pension fund contributions, medical aid subsidies, and housing allowances:
