# The City of Johannesburg says it is committed to ensuring that buildings comply with municipal regulations. Recently, officials uncovered a building containing multiple occupancies, including shops and an entertainment venue that was not compliant at Devilliers and Plein Streets in the CBD. The metro’s spokesperson, Nthatisi Modingoane, says a non-compliance notice has been issued to the occupants of the building:
