City of Joburg property owners received over R2.7-billion-rand worth of rebates [SOUND]

# The City of Johannesburg says it has given more than 2.7-billion-rand worth of property rebates to property owners during the 2024/2025 financial year. The metro’s rebates provide relief to thousands of households, pensioners, indigents, the education sector and high-density residential developments, amongst others. The metro’s spokesperson, Nkosana Lekotjolo, says that through various rebates, they continue to respond to the financial difficulties facing property owners:
