# The City of Cape Town says individuals are reportedly collecting money from residents to register on the metro’s jobseekers database, as part of the Expanded Public Works Programme. Residents are being charged five-rand to receive a jobseekers database registration form, and two-rand for proof of address in the area of Imizamo Yethu in Hout Bay. Mayoral committee member for Urban Waste Management, Grant Twigg, says to opportunists soliciting money from individuals seeking job opportunities, this is a criminal offence:
